1) Tell Us about your child
Start by completing our secure online intake form via the link below. Tell us about your child, your child’s current diagnostic status, what services you are seeking.
2. We'll Reach Out
We'll review your information and contact you to answer any questions, gather any additional information we need, and discuss next steps.
If Acorn is not the right fit, we’ll do our best to point you toward other resources that may be helpful.
3. Understand Your Insurance
ABA is a covered benefit for many families, but every insurance plan is different. We'll verify your child's specific benefits and help you understand your coverage and any expected out-of-pocket costs before moving forward.
4. Come Visit Acorn
If it looks like we may be a good match, we'll invite you and your child to visit. Meet us, explore the center, ask questions, and get a feel for where and how your child would spend their day.
5. Autism Evaluation
Already have an autism evaluation? We'll review it with you.
If your child still needs an autism evaluation, Acorn offers in-person evaluations with a licensed psychologist.
6. Build Your Child's ABA Program
Next, we'll complete an individualized ABA assessment. We'll learn about your child's strengths, needs, interests, preferences, and the things that matter to your family.
Together, we'll identify meaningful goals and design your child's individualized 1:1 ABA program at Acorn.
Then we're ready to grow.
